From Dream to Fruition
My foundation operates exclusively on the revenue I make through my personal real estate business. I use the earnings to cover all/any costs for advertising, merchandise, and events so that all donations from the community can go towards helping patients in the
North Carolina High Country in their fight against this horrible disease.
A Personal Calling
I am a eleven-year breast cancer survivor after being diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive form of the disease in December of 2010. I began the road to recovery after multiple surgeries and 18 months of chemotherapy.
PURPOSE & VISION
One of the things that helped me during my own journey was the support I received from my community. When I moved to the High Country, I noticed many businesses and members of the public were eager to show their support during October—Breast Cancer Awareness month. My dream was to bring all of those who felt called to support breast cancer awareness together under one “umbrella”; a united front for our community.
My dream came true in 2017 with the creation of the High Country Breast Cancer Foundation and lives on because of all of you.
Thank you for your support,
